Our National Parks are places of wonder, beauty and heritage but for many years the Parks had been operating as disparate entities. In 2019 we embarked on a brand identity, architecture and signage project to help position the brand as a recognisable entity across the island of Ireland – and even globally.
A design solution derived from Ireland’s oldest form of writing – Ogham – was devised and grounded in a strategic proposition ‘Where Nature Speaks’. A set of brand values conveying the Parks’ openness and accessibility, and their need for respect and care also helped to unify each of the six Parks, all the while recognising their bio-diversities and unique characteristics.
From custom typography, to bespoke emblems and illustrations, to website design and signage, we have empowered the Parks to own their important status as places of heritage, conservation and education, and enhanced visitor experiences across all brand touchpoints.
